Published on 10 May 2014 in Fashion & Shopping

Paris Fashion Weeks 2014 provide the major highlights of the global fashion calendar. Paris has enjoyed a reputation of being the world’s most fashion forward city for well over 250 years, and every new season consolidates her position. Some of the most sought after Haute Couture brands are based here, and Parisians possess what seems like effortless elegance and style. Perhaps the best way of finding out how they do it is to attend some of the upcoming fashion events in the capital, all easily accessible from the Best Western Hotel Les Théâtres.

The French fashion industry governing body, the Fédération Française de la Couture, organises a number of shows of great interest to both industry professionals and anyone else who wishes to keep their ears to the ground regarding what’s hot and what’s not. Upcoming Paris Fashion Weeks in 2014 are Mode Masculine, which showcases menswear for Spring and Summer 2015. Haute Couture is the haven for high fashion lovers, featuring Autumn and Winter 2014 collections. Prêt à Porter is the ready to wear fashionista’s dream for Spring and Summer 2015. The world’s foremost designers and iconic fashion houses will be showing their collections for the coming seasons, and you can be amongst those getting a first glimpse. Chanel, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld and Dior creations will be amongst those paraded upon the catwalks of the fashion capital of the world.
