There are thousands of ways to begin the new year with a bang and to keep warm and well during wintery January, but there’s no better way to live life in the fast lane than the winter sales in the world’s fashion capital – Paris.
A stay that you won’t regret
This year, the winter sales begin on the day of the Epiphany, or January 6th, and they end on 16th February. This allows you plenty of time to update your wardrobe with a little French flair as you shop for clothes and accessories according to the latest trends. It’s lovely and warm in the major stores, and you can take all the time you like to choose whatever takes your eye as you go in search of the best bargains. The shops are all lavishly decorated and adorned with thousands of lights to provide the magical and exciting setting you dream of.
Paris, THE place to be
If the winter sales are in full swing in towns and cities all over France, it is in Paris that one really gets a taste of the fashion community, both couture and ready-to -wear. Based at Hotel Les Theatres, you’ll be close to the famous department stores in Boulevard Haussmann and the exclusive boutiques of Rue Lafayette. A whole area where you can experiment with new looks - enjoy! In clothes, as it is with almost everything, there are certain areas of the city that set the tone. This isn’t the time to sit on the side-lines, go out and be a part of it!
